"People-oriented, treating with care" is the commitment of China Precision Measurement to every employee. The company is dedicated to providing employees with a dignified, safe, and healthy working environment. It adheres to local regulations at all global operational sites, follows international human rights conventions, and references the International Labour Organization's Tripartite Declaration of Principles.(International Labor Office Tripartite Declaration of Principles)Universal Declaration of Human Rights(UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights)United Nations "Global Compact"(The UN Global Compact)In accordance with the spirit, it is implemented in the establishment of internal regulations regarding human rights policies and practical work execution, continuously creating a friendly, equal, and comfortable working environment.

 

Commitment and Execution

China Precision Measurement focuses on the following human rights based on the company's operational items and characteristics, and proposes corresponding strategies to facilitate the promotion of internal relevant action plans and integrate them into corporate culture and value chain:

  1. The policy of valuing labor and business ethics is promoted through platforms such as work rules, document management systems, and announcement systems; at the same time, relevant systems are regularly reviewed and optimized to protect labor rights, ensuring that every employee is treated with respect and fairness, creating a friendly workplace environment.
  2. The labor contracts established with each employee comply with Taiwan's labor and human rights regulations. The contracts specify that the employment relationship is established based on the mutual consent of both parties, and when adjusting employees' positions in response to the company's business needs, consent from the employees is also obtained before proceeding. Any form of forced labor and any actions that may lead to the employment of child labor are prohibited.
  3. The wages paid to employees comply with all relevant wage laws, including minimum wage, overtime hours, and statutory benefits, and the payment of overtime is better than the legal regulations; it is clearly stated in the work rules that daily working hours shall not exceed12Underage, weekly working hours shall not exceed7The monthly overtime limit is46When we were young, we regularly promoted relevant regulations at labor-management meetings. We value equal pay for equal work, regularly auditing the salary system to ensure internal fairness and external competitiveness.

  4. The work regulations explicitly state protection measures for female workers, especially for pregnant female workers: including prohibition from working at night and engaging in hazardous work; and any inhumane treatment of employees and any form of sexual harassment, corporal punishment, mental or physical oppression, or verbal abuse is strictly prohibited.
  5. Respect the data privacy of employees and customers, and the collection and use of data comply with legal requirements.
  6. The company has the responsibility to extend the awareness of respecting human rights to the supply chain and partners, expecting suppliers and partners to demand the same high standards for their labor environment and conditions, occupational safety and health, and other human rights issues. Measures will be evaluated to reduce potential human rights risks in the value chain, with the hope that all partners in the value chain can implement human rights management together with us.
 
Human Rights Protection Training

Continuously pay attention to human rights protection issues, promote education and training to raise awareness of human rights protection, and reduce the likelihood of related risks occurring.

  1. Pre-employment education and training for new employees: Promoting compliance with human rights protection regulations and the company's internal communication structure to enhance employees' awareness of human rights.
  2. Sexual Harassment Prevention Course: Helping colleagues understand the concept of sexual harassment, prevention of sexual harassment, and the company's handling methods for sexual harassment incidents.
  3. Promoting mechanisms to prevent workplace bullying: Assisting employees in understanding workplace bullying, clearly avoiding bullying behaviors, and collectively creating a friendly work environment that encourages communication and open management.
  4. Comprehensive occupational safety series education and training: Providing different safety training for different categories of employees based on the situations they may encounter in the workplace, such as fire training, emergency response training, first aid personnel training, general safety and health education training, factory safety training, supervisor safety training, etc.2024A total of 563 occupational safety training courses were held this year, with a total of 4 participants trained.,435Person.
