In accordance with the Gender Equality Work Act, the Sexual Harassment Prevention Act, the Stalking and Harassment Prevention Act, the Guidelines for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment, the Guidelines for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, and the Disciplinary Measures, the "Operational Management Measures for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment" are established to adopt appropriate prevention, correction, disciplinary, and handling measures to protect the rights and privacy of the aforementioned personnel, and to publicly disclose and declare as follows:
- No one shall sexually harass or sexually assault others.
- Those who sexually harass others may be fined between NT$10,000 and NT$100,000 according to the law; those who use power or opportunity to commit sexual harassment will face a penalty increased by half.
- Those who sexually harass or assault others will face appropriate disciplinary actions or measures from the company, depending on the severity of the circumstances, in addition to any criminal and civil liabilities under the law.
- At least once a year, through global broadcasts, electronic announcements, or labor-management meetings, the company will declare its position on prohibiting and preventing sexual harassment, and will implement gender equality and sexual harassment prevention courses through new employee training and annual mandatory training.
- Establish and implement a confidential sexual harassment complaint procedure to fulfill the responsibility of protecting the complainant from retaliation or other adverse treatment; and discipline the respondent based on the investigation results to prevent reoffending or the occurrence of similar cases.
